Humans, animals, nature - all living things are composed of energy & connected. As Albert Einstein said, “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.”
Vital life force energy, also known as prana or chi, is the energy that flows through all living beings. It’s responsible for maintaining all physical functions including life, health, & heat. When flowing freely & unrestricted throughout the body, there is physical, mental, & emotional health & well-being. One is more resilient to stress, illness, energy levels rise, along with inspiration, creativity, & intuition.
The form of Reiki practiced by Vibrant Range originated in the 1900's & was developed by Mikao Usui in Japan. It’s a gentle, non-invasive, complimentary energy healing therapy technique, & a holistic healing modality. Meaning that Reiki works on the totality of our being: The physical body, mental body, emotional body, energy body, & spiritual body. Reiki is harmless, has no negative side-effects, only gives positive results, & what you need - be that a release of tension, energy boost, or both for example. It’s respectful, kind, loving, & each experience is as unique as a fingerprint or beautiful snowflake drifting from the sky. No two sessions are alike. They are curated individually to each being to what they need in that moment.
During a session I, Emmy, a certified Holy Fire III World Peace Reiki Master & Animal Reiki Practitioner, will guide life force energy into & through the receiver's body by a light touch over the receiver’s clothing or by hovering my hands over the receiver. The reiki session itself promotes & allows the receiver’s body its natural ability & flow of - energy, healing, invigoration, balance, guidance, & harmony throughout the body & energy field. Reiki is a wonderfully passive, non-intrusive experience where one doesn’t have to try to relax as the Reiki will relax you & your state will shift naturally as the session proceeds.
Reiki helps the nervous system shift from sympathetic, aka fight or flight mode, to parasympathetic - the rest, digest, & restore mode. A few examples as to why this is important - the parasympathetic nervous system aids in cellular regeneration, maintains a resting heart rate, is responsible for many cranial nerves including the vagus nerve, digestion, lowering stress, & internal body temperature.
Many people live a busy, fast life & let’s face it, life throws us unbearable stress, physical pain, illness, heartbreaks, lack of sleep, dis-ease, imbalance, & so on. Due to those things the body forms energy blockages (within our chakras aka energy centers within the body) & as a result that inhibits the innate healing process & even alters our perception of reality over time. I've noticed that in today's fast-paced world, we do not give ourselves the time of day to fully heal, let alone process our emotions altogether. Receiving Reiki & shifting the body into the parasympathetic nervous system helps return the body to homeostasis - the balance within all physical systems needed for a body to function properly & survive.
Reiki is for all & any - age be that newborn - end of life. Human or animal.
Reiki is for all & any - level of illness. It is very a complementing health approach to use alongside any Western medical practices without disrupting any care being received. Reiki is used around the world in settings such as hospitals, clinics, long term care, hospice, cancer centers, animal rescues, & veterinary practices to name a few. *Note- Reiki does not diagnose or prescribe.
Reiki is for all & any - spiritual belief system. Reiki is not tied to nor affiliated with any religion nor is it New Age so it proposes no conflict to one’s religious beliefs.

When it comes to meditation it can be hard to know where to start. My aim is to ensure you don’t struggle & learn how to relax & connect the body, mind, + spirit. At Vibrant Range it’s encouraged to drop an expectation or desire for mediation to feel a specific way & fully accept the way the mind is acting. The desire for mediation to be a thoughtless void can create resistance to whatever’s happening in the present moment. Sometimes when you stop trying to get somewhere, peace slips in quietly unannounced. The noble thought of a resting mind on divinity will eventually happen. “In meditation you take an unbiased approach. You let things be as they are, without judgment, & in that way you yourself learn to be,” Pema Chödrön.
Mediation can be compared to going to the gym & wanting to lift weights. You have a goal of 100lbs but to start can only lift 25lbs, you need to build against the resistance. If the resistance was not there, you’d never be able to build the muscles. All of us have a mental resistance at some level & to get rid of that takes effort, energy, patience, kindness towards yourself, & time.
Another quote that resonates with Vibrant Range’s outlook on mediation is by Rumi, “Maybe you’re searching among branches for what only appears in roots.” Going deep into meditation is like watering the root. Dipping into the deep state moves you from an analytical left-brain DOING state, into the creative right-brain BEING state. Going into this state is nourishment for the mind & the body. When you return from the deep state, you’re more balanced, rested, alert & alive. These qualities carry over from the meditation into your normal everyday life just as Reiki does which is one reason they are tied together in Vibrant Sessions.
While we usually attend well to our bodies with food & exercise, our inner selves can sometimes miss out. Meditation is a delightful feast for our spirit & inner environment, promising nourishment, serenity, & balance from within. It helps us overcome the stresses & strains of our lives. We learn to manage our thoughts & bit by bit, as our minds become clearer, hearts less burdened - we feel the beauty of a simpler way of life. It also facilitates self-reflection, enabling us to consciously observe our actions. By engaging in this practice, we develop a heightened sense of awareness & accountability. Even when we make difficult choices, it empowers us to courageously face the outcomes of our actions.
In mediation our consciousness is moving towards the innermost self, the core of our existence. As we delve deeper into meditation, we may find ourselves more capable of unlocking the gates of our consciousness. We tap into the creativity, compassion, & unconditional love that resides within us & discover ourselves.
A reason that I’ve chosen to use visual meditation is to enhance the concentration aspect of going into mediation & then to allow the receivers relaxation to deepen as the session progresses. When you practice visualization, you have mental images you can revisit on demand, like your own built in sacred relaxation space. The more you practice this form, the more tangible those mental images will be for you, leading to a greater well-being & quality of mental strength overall. This style of mediation also enhances creativity by encouraging the mind, helps with memory, decision making, & gives you a great ability to raise your consciousness.
I have over 20 years of experience working in various healthcare settings from Newborn ICU, Pediatric ICU, various adult ICU’s, cancer, rehab, memory loss, hospice, & a few holistic environments. Currently I’m in a more natural setting of Western healthcare where individuals are using their bodies & minds to heal, maintain, & empower through aquatic physical therapy & a variety of community aquatic classes, some which I teach.
Back to my point -it’s truly refreshing to see Western healthcare sources are realizing the efficacy of mediation, seeing it as a powerful antidote & recommending it as a tool to manage & ilvaite stress. Meditation has also shown in many studies to help increase focus, decrease cognitive decline, & improve mental health-related quality of life. Visual meditation comes with both spiritual & science-backed benefits, making it a well-rounded option for anyone looking to start or deepen their mindfulness practice.

John Muir said, ““between every two pines is a doorway to a new world.” Vibrant Range was created & name selected due to deep passion & inspiration from nature & the power of self. Vibrant Range’s - Vitality Room was curated by inspiration from the natural world with things such as - forests, pines, water, mountains, stones, North American animals, & paramount landmarks where personal healing & invigoration was experienced. In places such as; Yellowstone National Park, Grand Tetons, Garden of the Gods, & Lee G. Simmons Conservation Wildlife Safari Park. These places & more be that at leisure or when I was in my working environment (yes, even in working in/with nature there’s healing & invigoration to be had), I felt John Muir’s quote to be true in a plethora of ways internally & extending to my outside self & world.
Nature has a magnitude of therapeutic powers. Ecotherapy is based on the belief that people are part of the web of life & that our psyches are not isolated or separate from our environment. Humans have a deep connection to their environment & to the earth itself. We are all one connected root system or waterway leading to the ocean.
Ancient peoples & indigenous cultures have long viewed the well-being of humans to be intimately linked with their environment & the natural world. Humans are bound to the well-being of the planet & nurturing our relationship with nature is key for maintaining our overall mental & physical well-being & quality of life.
Nature & all it encompasses is very grounding, restorative, welcomes respite, destresses, is calming, improves coping abilities, offers unique opportunities for transformation, boosts self-esteem, generates positive emotions & thoughts, create a sense of life balance, fosters empathy, a sense of connection, increases attention span & concentration, raises feelings of contentment, & boost the production of serotonin & other feel-good neurochemicals.
Compared to conventional forms of therapy, where a therapy room & setting are largely under the control of the therapist/giver, when in or incorporating nature, the setting is alive, constantly changing, & can shape the therapeutic interaction. When focusing on the experience of nature rather than on themselves & their difficulties, the receiver actually increases the awareness of themselves, others, & their surroundings.
Vibrant Range harnesses ecotherapy power by infusing it into the Vitality Room, Vibrant Sessions, meditations, & getting out into nature with those served.

The 1st thing that all living beings do when they are born is take their 1st breath of life. Our breath is one of the most powerful & accessible tools that we have access to that constantly supports our physical & emotional health & well-being. Breathing (when done properly) is responsible for releasing 70% of the toxins in your body. Breathing through your nose filters out the majority of bacteria & germs, plus humidifies & warms the air inhaled before it gets to your lungs. However, over 40% of people don’t breathe properly throughout the day at rest & even more of us have bad breathing habits.
Breath is the most important component to transforming consciousness as all emotions are connected to breath. When we change the breath, we change the rhythm, & in turn change the emotion. Which is why the number 1 thing you can do to lower stress & anxiety is breathe. Yet, breath is so much more than just a calming technique & realistically how easy is to listen to someone say, “calm down, just breathe,” when you’re tapped into the sympathetic nervous system aka fight or flight mode. Did you know that poor breathing can actually induce stress, anxiety, & increase the chances of sleep-disorder breathing issues? A way we can help our nervous system is through an incredible action we can choose to take by releasing the energy, even though we can’t change what happened. Breathing is one of our nervous systems love languages.
The healing power of breathwork helps our physical, mental, & emotional well-being. As a breathwork facilitator I have experienced it firsthand & it literally transformed my life in all those aspects. To incorporate various breathing techniques into the Vibrant Sessions was a no brainer seeing how powerful this built in tool we embody is. Drawing from a collection of somatic-based healing modalities, pranayama, therapeutic breathing, gentle movement, & self-discovery I’ll guide you to release stored emotions & regulate your nervous system. This practice also helps with sleep, immunity, increased mental focus, balanced energy, reducing heart rate, digestion, & changing the blood PH. Additionally, certain methods help with emotional release from limiting beliefs, trauma, & grief. Let’s take a breath to heal & be empowered.tem description

Chakras are energy centers within the body that help regulate all its connected processes, from organ function to the immune system & emotions. Yes, your emotions are connected to your immune system & even organs, everything has a root stemming to something else in our magnificently created body, mind, & spirit.
There are 7 main chakras on the body that start at the base of the spine & go to the crown of your head. Together they form the aura or torus of the human body. You are energy. All living things are created by energy. Every person, thought, emotion, intention, object, & word spoken is a charge of energy with its own matching vibrational frequency. Our thought process is extremely powerful. Seeing as emotions are energy & energy wants & needs to move, when stuck emotions cause stress or dis-ease, that’s the energy wanting you to help move it.
The term chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel or disc. Chakras are energy receptors or wheels of light that process subtle energy currents & convert into chemical, hormonal, & cellular changes that take place in your body via the endocrine system. Each chakra has its own vibrational frequency, color, & governs specific functions that help make you, well, human or an animal (yes, they have chakras too). Every chakra also relates to different levels of consciousness.
Over time from birth & throughout our life our chakras alignment & functions can become imbalanced, blocked, stagnant, be deficient or overactive in functioning. The important key here is they can be healed & transformed. Healing the Chakras is a special process that involves various methods of self-discovery, self-love, sometimes illness, questioning self-actions, vibrational medicine, forgiveness, & focusing on the attributes of each individual chakra.
The ability of your energy centers to function at a high level is what keeps you psychologically, emotionally, physically, & spiritually balanced. Which is why Vibrant Range deems it vitally important to work with chakras & allow the flow of Reiki energy to assist in balancing, aligning, clearing, awakening, & connecting these prominent areas of the body & mind.Description text goes here

We humans are so complicated yet perfectly created. I truly believe that our body, mind, & spirits want to naturally heal themselves. From my own experience I also firmly understand that we do have the ability to heal ourselves if we take the time to do so.
Life can get messy & busy at times. It throws us unbearable stress, physical pain, illness, heartbreaks, lack of sleep, dis-ease, imbalance, & so on. Our bodies can form energy blockages (within our chakras aka energy centers within the body) that inhibit the innate healing process & even alter our perception of reality over time. I've noticed that in today's fast-paced world, we do not give ourselves the time of day to fully heal, let alone process our emotions altogether.
My clients have described feeling more aligned, calm, relaxed, peaceful, clear minded, productive, & a release of dis-ease. They've also returned stating it's because my sessions are like “therapy for the mind, body and spirit.” Which is one reason that Vibrant Range's intention is -- "the ascent of the mind, body, spirit, & nature."
We are one & my goal is to help others not only simply believe but - feel, hear, touch, smell, taste, see, & know the power within, collectively, & rise to great heights.
During our time together, I will help you find clarity, peace & guidance around what's been on your mind, heart, within yourself, & body. By doing that it will give you a glimpse of what it is like to connect with something greater than yourself & to intentionally be present.
I incorporate a combination of my innate gifts, aromatherapy, crystals, sound, chakra balancing, breathwork, meditation, slow-easy movements, ecotherapy, & Reiki (universal life force energy) to bring the ancient art of energy healing to the contemporary client. My Reiki sessions are intentionally formulated & carefully designed to bring a wholesome healing experience & it will be a very relaxing, healing experience at the very least.
These sessions do work best when received on a regular basis as they enable you to go deeper to - heal, be invigorated, & connect with yourself each time.
The safe sacred space I’ve created is here for you, as am I. Let’s connect so you can start receiving & living the life you deserve inside & out.
